Nilda Mesa joins CSUD as Director of Equity, Sustainability and Planning

The Center for Sustainable Urban Development is delighted to welcome Nilda Mesa. As adjunct senior research scientist and director of urban sustainability and equity planning, Professor Mesa will spearhead new sustainability and equity initiatives at CSUD. She is also teaching at the School of International and Public Affairs. She brings extensive experience to CSUD, including as the lead author of One NYC, New York’s sustainability plan and former Director of the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability in New York City. Professor Mesa is writing a book on collaborating on the climate issue. She will be speaking at the American Institute of Architecture conference on June 22 on  “Sustainable Urban Campus Planning in New York City.”
